What about "Loot assignment"?

Currently, we are using loot council.
The loot goes to whoever earns it the most.
E.g most attended raids, best contribution etc.
People who are friends with the person and are officers we do not allow them to decide.
We will later switch to DKP (Dragon kill points)

you know that mantaining a DKP table is an hell of a work for officers?

Til we get everything sorted we use loot council.
We will test DKP and if it doesn't go correct or is too much work we will go back to loot council or some other form of loot distribution.

about this I could suggest a "low maintenance" system, called EP/GP.
